Congratulations to Bill DeHoff and Tim Alberg!

What do you remember about your favorite teacher? Did her enthusiasm for your most-hated subject make you almost like it? Did he shake your hand when you were introduced, treating you like an adult when nobody else did? Whatever it was, your favorite instructor made an impression that has stuck with you your whole life.

Most of the time, educators’ efforts go unrecognized, even though they’ve given so much to their students. The folks at the Nakatani Teaching and Learning Center recognize the importance of an educator’s impact on student lives. Their “Outstanding Teaching Award” gives students a chance to show their appreciation by voting for professors who have really made a difference.

The Department of Art and Design is proud to announce that two of our faculty members were chosen to receive the “Outstanding Teaching Award” for 2009-2010. Congratulations go to both Bill DeHoff and Tim Alberg for the honor. Thanks to both for their hard work and dedication!
