AIGA Stout Tours Studios

The student chapter of the AIGA here at UW Stout recently toured a few design studios in Minneapolis and St. Paul. They have photos and a short write up of the event at their chapter's blog.

AIGA Student Group to Host a Design a Holiday Card Event.

The UW-Stout student chapter of AIGA is inviting students to come to Applied Arts 125 today (Dec. 7th) at 5:45 to design holiday cards. Cards designed will be printed and sold.

GDA: Student Org Update

Last semester’s activities included:
Helped with Todd Boppel Scholarship fundraising. (Raffle)

• Heather Olson gave a talk about AIGA.
• Design Camp- Nisswa, MN.
• Decorated a car, handed out candy and flyers for the Homecoming Parade.
• Members’ mini posters “tell us a random fact” were posted on our Bulletin Board on 1st floor.
• Trip to the Walker (film)
• Member made posters for Comedy Club.
• Bill Moran talked in Furlong Gallery about his work and brought Woodtype Film to our meeting.
• Continued the process of tshirt designs from end of last semester.
